It's Been A While...

It has been a while since I last posted. I've mainly been busy with my daughter's softball games. These are the softball caramels I made for a fundraiser.

These are the cookie pops I made last year with Oreo cookies and cream cheese.

Lots of rain during the District final game. And we wait. You can see the softball roses I made to sell.

Hannah got to do some relief pitching this year.

Then I also had a trip out of Honolulu to Okinawa. This was in Honolulu before I left. A view near the airport as I looked for the Hawaiian BBQ place.

A view of Diamond Head on the downtown bus route.
Flowers along the side of the road.

 Nirvana. Kailui  and Laulau pork.

An Asian style buffet downtown. (I had to hang out a loooong time to get a flight home.)

This was the view into town from the hotel in Okinawa.

And the view from my balcony.

 Inside the hotel lobby.

 Down by the beach.

The super high tech vending machines.

My crew on the beach.

Okonumiaki and Yakisoba for dinner.

Important tip: never randomly push buttons while sitting on high tech toilets.

Freeze-dried quid. Yum? Not for me.

Riding home in the top deck of a 747 "Barbie's Dream Plane". In business class. Soooo spoiled.

And Sarah broke her thumb just as Summer starts. Ouch.

Tie-dye birthday cake

I made a tie dye cake for Sarah's 21st birthday. Turned out ok. I made it gluten free as we think she may be sensitive. Major adjustment to do gluten free. It turned out pretty, I thought.

Weirdness

“I am weird, you are weird. Everyone in this world is weird. One day two people come together in mutual weirdness and fall in love.”

Travel Pictures- January edition

It was so nice and warm in Mexico. A nice family trip.

 Beautiful sunsets.
And the big game on the big screen.

And then not many days later: snow in Salt Lake City. Pretty. Also pretty cold.
